Grassroots enables Breed Societies to link their data with other organisations and systems including the Central Equine Database (CED/SED) for horses, Signet and Abri for Estimated Breeding Values (EBVs), pedigree auctioneers for the creation of catalogues, EntryMaster for the automatic checking of show entries, various labs for DNA analysis and both the Defra Farm Animal Genetic Resources (FAnGR) Monitoring System and the Rare Breeds Survival Trust (RBST).
