The Online module enable the auctioneers to define the order of the classes and the running order within consignments. They can add notes for vendors and notes for individual animals. There is an option to run ballots and assign lot numbers. Sales can be set up to allow farmers to do direct entries online via the Grassroots Farmers Online. Finally catalogues can be produced with all the animal details, one, two or three generation pedigrees, show results, progeny lists, lambs or calves at foot and EBVs captured directly from Signet.
Grassroots provide a single ‘user name’ and password to each auctioneer or sale organiser. This provides access to all the sales run by that auctioneer, for all Grassroots species and breeds. For a full list of Grassroots breeds please click here.

After the sale auctioneers should please send an excel or csv file with a list of the tag numbers of the animals sold with their buyers details, in order for the Breed Society to process the transfer of ownerships.
